Dairy Hill Lodging in Seward, Alaska

We also own and operate Dairy Hill Lodging.

Our new (built in 2003) Lodging is located on Dairy Hill Lane, (click for map) in a quiet and peaceful setting. It is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) from several restaurants, the Seward Harbor (where we depart for our Wildlife and Glacier Tours and Fishing Trips), a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship dock, and a 20 minute walk to downtown Seward and the Alaska Sealife Center. For your privacy, there is a separate outside entrance to your room(s).

We have the following room options:

(A) Queen Bedroom. This bedroom has a queen size bed, table and chairs, cable TV, microwave, coffeepot, small refrigerator, toaster, and large private bathroom with tub and shower. The Chugach Mountain Range can be seen from the window in the Queen Bedroom. The rate is $159/night plus tax. Your early booking rate is $139/night.

(B) One Bedroom Suite. Along with a nice view, this large bedroom has two double beds, a sofa bed, table/chairs, microwave, small refrigerator, coffeepot, toaster, cable TV, and large bathroom with shower and tub. The rate is $169/night plus tax. Your early booking Internet rate is $149/night plus tax.

Two Bedroom Suite. The two bedroom suite includes the Queen Bedroom described above and the One Bedroom Suite described above. The rate is $348/night plus tax. Your early booking Internet rate is $308/night. 

Reservations: We require a deposit or payment in full to confirm and hold all reservations. We accept Visa and Mastercard. Dairy Hill Lodging will provide a full refund for reservations canceled 30 days prior to your arrival less a $20 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your arrival unless we can fill your vacancy; however, we provide 100% credit toward a future reservation. If you decide to make a reservation, please e-mail us your phone number and mailing address.

Seward's favorite Bald Eagle viewing area is less than a 3 minute walk from our Dairy Hill Lodging. It is not unusual to see mature and immature Bald Eagles from your room.

Directions to Dairy Hill Lodging: The Seward Highway becomes Third Avenue. Once in Seward, stay on Third Avenue. As you enter Seward you will pass Safeway Grocery store on your right. Begin looking for Dairy Hill Lane on your right, approximately 1/2 mile after passing the Safeway Grocery store. Turn right onto Dairy Hill Lane. Dairy Hill Lodging is the second house on the right. If you get to the Chevron Station, you have gone one street too far south. There is a private entrance to your room. If we are not home, we will leave a note for you and a key in the door. If you have not already booked a wildlife and glacier tour, consider taking our small group full day Kenai Fjords National Park Tour. One of the main differences between our tours and those of the other tour companies is that we only do small group tours with seldom more than 18 people. Nearly all of the other tour operators have 150+ people on their tours.
